Grades 1 thru 5 Religious Formation class days times for 2013-14
Tuesday 4:45pm – 6:15 pm
Wednesday 4:00pm - 5:30pm and 6:00pm - 7:30pm
Sacramental preparation:
All preparation for the celebration of the sacraments is done through the cooperation and involvement of the parents, religious formation staff and this community. Parents are strongly encouraged to become more fully involved in their child’s preparation by attending the parent sacramental meeting held in the fall and the various morning retreats held before each sacrament.
Children are to be properly catechized for the sacrament of Reconciliation prior to First Eucharist. The sacrament of Reconciliation is received prior to the celebration and reception of First Eucharist.
Children who meet the requirements may begin preparing for the sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Eucharist.
We recommend a 2 year preparation before reception of the sacraments.
First Reconciliation takes place in January for 2nd graders.
First Eucharist is celebrated in May.
For more information regarding the Sacrament of First Reconciliation and Eucharist go to the Worship page and then click on Sacraments.
