Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten

Smile It's never to early to begin to love and learn about Jesus!

Pre-K and Kindergarten Religious Formation is available for 4 and 5 year olds.  Class size is dependent upon the number of catechists who volunteer.

We provide Religious Formation Classes at an age appropriate level and follow a set curriculum.  The classes are taught by teams of two adult catechists.

All catechists are required to have a background check and participate in a Protecting God's Children workshop session.

Classes include a variety of lessons, crafts, stories, music and prayer time.  Other activities include the Thanksgiving Exchange, Advent Song, bulletin board decorating, and a Year-End Celebration for the Kindergartners who will be moving on to the first grade.

Classes take place Sunday mornings during the 10:00 AM Mass.  Classes begin in October and continue through the end of April.  Children are dropped off prior to the 10:00 AM Mass at their classrooms located in the Religious Formation wing of the Church.  Parents pick up their child(ren) at the conclusion of Mass.

Registration is required and the tuition per student is $55.00.

Children’s Liturgy of the Word:

Children’s Liturgy of the Word takes place on Sunday during the 10:00 and 12:00 Masses. It does not meet during the summer months (June, July or August). After the opening blessing, the children are released to follow the ministry team in a procession to the Chapel. The children return shortly after the Prayers of the Faithful.

Children’s Liturgy of the Word is open to all children from Kindergarten through 3rd grade, and provides the Liturgy of the Word and the Homily at an age-appropriate level. The format consists of the first reading, responsorial psalm, the gospel reading, a homily, the creed and the prayers of the faithful.

It is conducted by a team of 3-5 adult volunteers, as well as older student involvement. The teams rotate on a weekly basis.

All volunteers are required to have a background check and participate in a Protecting God's Children workshop session.

Registration is not required,
