Time & Service

Saint Joseph Parish Time and Service Volunteer Form - 2011

• September is Stewardship Awareness Month at Saint Joseph Parish. During the month of September, we make a special effort to recall that all good things come from God, that we are called to be good stewards of those blessings, and that our responsibility as good stewards is to share our time, talent and treasure.

• The Time and Service Appeal form inserted in the bulletin can be completed any time during the month of September and returned to the parish office or at weekend Mass. In order to be included in formation and training programs for new ministers, this form must be returned by the end of September.

• Every parish volunteer, in every ministry, must make a new commitment each September in order to continue in that ministry.

• Use one form per family, not per person. Simply write the name of the family member beside the activity in which that person wishes to participate.

• Experience not required, only a desire to make a difference.

• Most volunteer ministries will require a criminal history background check and participation in a session of the “Protecting God’s Children” workshop.
